Job Description: 

Delivery service is growing every day! Due to Covid-19 many restaurants are turning to delivery drivers to deliver their food to customers. Even high-end restaurant are seeing increased demand for food delivery due to state occupancy mandates. United Parking has been providing “5” star Valet service for many restaurants such as Jacky’s Waterplace, Providence Oyster Bar and Los Andes to name a few. We are now expanding our services to include food delivery as well. DASAP is now actively looking for qualified delivery drivers. This position is a great way to earn income on the days and times that work for you with flexible hours that meet your needs. We are looking for professional, courteous and responsible drivers who are ready to deliver superior and exceptional experiences for our customers. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be have a minimum of 3 years driving experience with a valid driver’s license

  • Must pass background check and a clean driving record that meets the criteria of our insurance carrier 

  • Own a dependable vehicle that is insured with at least the state minimum insurance (proof of insurance required)

  • Drug free company

  • Own a smartphone

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills

  • Communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous manner 

  • Able to navigate quickly and efficiently via GPS

  • Ability to practice time management skills

  • Always maintain a pleasant disposition 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Arrive early or on time for your shift

  • Maintain a clean and well running vehicle

  • Greet each customer with a smile and a warmth

  • Drive in accordance with all applicable laws, ordinances and DASAP’s policies

  • Practice Covid-19 protocols set up by DASAP. Training will be given

  • Follow customer directions 

  • Handle packages with honesty, professionalism, respect, and care in accordance with DASAP’s policies

  • Maintain a professional appearance, language, demeanor, and behavior

Education: 

High School Diploma or GED

Days/Times

7 days per week, 11:30am-10pm 

Part time (Up to 29 Hours) 

Compensation: 

Hourly + tips + mileage reimbursement

 

 All drivers that work with DASAP are employees of the company, not independent contractors.
